Study in Singapore
Singapore is a major Asian education and business hub, especially strong in technology, business, finance, logistics, hospitality and professional education.
Visa process
Student's Pass. After admission to an eligible full-time programme, complete the ICA Student's Pass process, obtain approval and complete the required formalities.
Government / visa fees - subject to change
Student's Pass application processing fee: S$45. Additional issuance/formalisation charges may apply.
Financial requirement
Students may need to provide financial information/evidence depending on the institution and immigration process.
Student rules & regulations
Remain enrolled at the approved institution and comply with Student's Pass and employment rules. Course/institution changes may require immigration action.
Work rights during study
Work permission depends on the institution, course and applicable Ministry of Manpower rules. Do not assume that every student can work.
After study
Singapore does not provide an automatic post-study work visa solely because a student graduates. Graduates generally need eligible employment and an appropriate work pass.
PR / settlement options
PR may be possible for eligible applicants through applicable residence/employment routes, but it is discretionary and not guaranteed.
